I don’t have much money:
Buying a gym membership, clothing and equipment can be expensive, but you don’t have to spend a fortune to be more active:
- Try activities you can do for free the outdoors can be a great place to exercise at little or no cost. With comfortable footwear a walk or run won’t cost you anything.
- Look for local discounts some councils offer discounted leisure centre memberships for people who want to exercise more, especially if you have a health problem or are not exercising regularly.
- Ask your GP about exercise on prescription.
