Couch to 5K: A boost for my mind and body

I’ve never really been into exercise, but my GP suggested that it could help with my mental health (I’ve got GAD and also have BPD tendancies). I downloaded the Couch to 5K running app and decided to give it a try. I completed the programme by myself and now regularly do 5K runs.

Completing the nine‐week programme has boosted my confidence and had a positive impact on my mental and physical health. I’ve now signed up to parkrun and I’m running weekly 5Ks at my local park.
